Testimonials

  1. I can say that Callie seems happy and well adjusted and I am absolutely delighted with Bright Eyes Pet Sitting services. It is a huge comfort to me that Callie is so well cared for and that I feel like I am leaving her to be cared for by a best friend. I know that it is a long day for her by herself but I also know that she would be a very different dog if she wasnt so well exercised and befriended during the day. Your regular text messages and contact mean that Bright Eyes is a very personal service: I feel less guilty about leaving her and that I feel secure that she is so well cared for. Thank you.

  2. " What a fantastic service. I'm very close to my cats and love them as I do my child. Sue was a superb carer for my cats whilst I was away for over a week. Played with them , comforted them and treated them as if they were her own. They warmed to her very quickly and it was obvious on my return that they had been exceptionally well cared for both. As a true animal lover it was clear that Sue had very quickly adopted a very attentive and flexible approach to their differing personalities and it was reassuring to receive email updates throughout the week on their welfare.
I would strongly recommend Sue and the Bright Eyes service to anyone who prefers or requires home care as opposed to catteries whilst away from home and will certainly be recommending it to all my friends and family. "

  3. Joan has looked after my childrens’ pet rabbit and guinea pig on a number of occasions now and we have always felt comforted that our pets are in safe hands while we are away. It has also meant that we haven't had to worry about transporting them somewhere to be looked after as Joan visits our house to look after them. She also keeps a general eye on the house in our absence. We are grateful to Joan for her help and have no hesitation in recommending her pet sitting services to anyone.

  4. Because of the nature of my job I occasionally have to work long hours which means that my dog, Monty, would have to be on his own if it were not for Joan. When the occasion arises, Joan is always on hand to keep an eye on things. The arrangements are that she visits Monty twice during the day, takes Monty for his walk each time, gives him the fuss he so loves followed by his food. This is a great arrangement for me as it gives me peace of mind because I know that I can trust Joan with Monty.

  5. My cat doesn’t take too kindly with being away from home and unfamiliar surroundings and when he has been to a cattery in the past he has been completely stressed out with the whole affair. Once, this resulted in George coming back with a stress related illness which ended up having to be treated by my vet. Joan came to my rescue after finding out about George`s phobia at going into a cattery. She has looked after him ever since. This allows me to go away on holiday, guilt free and without having to worry about George’s well being as I know he is being well cared for. There is of course the added bonus that someone is keeping their eye on my house when I am not there so there is added security.

  6. Susan looks after my children’s rabbit when we go away on holiday. We leave our rabbit, Bugsy, at home so Susan visits him on a daily basis to tend him. This includes all the normal things such as feeding him, giving him fresh water and hay, but also handling him and giving him the occasional brush which he loves. In addition, I also used to own two Garter snakes which I loved but no one else seemed too keen on except for Susan as she used to look after them in addition to Bugsy. I am more than happy to recommend Susan’s services as I know she loves our animals and she is trustworthy.

  7. I have a cat that I am unable to board at catteries because she gets so stressed. On the few occasions she has been away to a cattery, she has come back with an illness. I decided quite some time ago that it was not worth it and resigned myself to the fact that I would either not go away on holiday, which seemed unrealistic, or I would ask for someone to help me out. As I knew Sue is a big animal lover I decided to ask her confident that she would say yes. Needless to say Sue was a willing volunteer and she has looked after Tammy ever since. Sue ensures that Tammy has food and fresh water, and the love and attention that she craves for. The added bonus is that Sue also collects my post, waters the plants, opens and shuts the curtains as well as putting the lights on and off which gives the impression that someone is always at home.

  8. Sue is very reliable and honest; I would recommend her pet sitting services to anybody. I have a menagerie, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 horses and a cockatiel all of which have been minded by Sue and I would not leave them with anybody else! Sue has even met the vet at the farm where my horses are kept when one of them was seriously ill. She has also taken my cockatiel to the vet for me when I've been on holiday. I can relax when I away know that my pets are at home being cared for and I do not feel guilty about them being boarded in small pens, my house is also never empty whilst I'm away!
